Pond management and maintenance on-site consultations are the starting point for proper pond management. Bay Area Land Management offers consultation services throughout the state of Wisconsin with a focus more in the northeastern part of Wisconsin. Our on-site consultation services include an inspection of vegetation growth such as cattails, grasses, buckthorn, swamp willow, etc. We take a look at all the inlets, outlets, overflow areas. As well as animal burrows from muskrats. A main focus is erosion on embankments and along the shoreline or water’s edge. This is the most common area for erosion. Inspection Document
Once we gather all the information from the condition of the pond, we complete an inspection document. Any issues with the pond will be noted and estimates will be provided to remedy issues. You will receive a copy of the inspection document with pictures and a separate document with quotes for repair. We highly recommend pond maintenance such as bi-annual or annual mowings and spot spraying for woody vegetation as this is best practice to keep the vegetation in check.
